G et Lost challenges travellers to earn their experience by totally disconnecting and exploring their way out of unknown destinations. Black Tomato, the travel company behind this service, invites clients to venture into unchartered territories for a transformative adventure. The only catch is that travellers will have no idea where they are headed.
Clients are matched with a Get Lost Travel Expert who conducts a consultation to learn why they want to take a trip like this. The only decision that a client is allowed to make is the environment they wish to get lost in, choosing from polar, desert, jungle, coastal or mountain. If the client wants to have the ultimate Get Lost experience, they are able to roll the dice and let Black Tomato pick their location for them.
Prior to exploring, Black Tomato will provide personalized training sessions and survival skills to prepare for the wilderness. Then all they have to do is show up at the airport and everything else is taken care of. Travellers will be transported to their destination by private transport or helicopter based on distance, then outfitted with the most technologically advanced equipment for tracking.
Every journey is closely tracked by Black Tomato’s experienced expedition operations teams as a safety net. Upon completion of the expedition, clients will reap their earned reward, a truly one-of-a-kind celebration and send off, which will be deeply personal and indulgent.
Some previous locations clients got lost in were Mongolia, Svalbard and Guyana, to name a few. The Get Lost experience is designed to both captivate and exhilarate. In a world of 24/7 connectivity, the ability to disconnect and escape has never been more elusive and with this new service, Black Tomato is making it easy for digital detox.
